Winifred Ese Awanlan
Media Coordinator
Winifred Ese Awanlan is a Nigerian Public Relations, Media, and Communications professional with experience in online teaching, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communication. She is currently based in Eket, Akwa Ibom State.
At the REO Institute for Strategic Research & Consulting, she plays a key role in shaping the Institute’s public image and communication strategy. She is responsible for managing media relations, developing content, and ensuring effective dissemination of research outputs to diverse audiences. Her work supports the Institute’s mission of translating knowledge into impactful, real-world solutions by strengthening visibility, engagement, and outreach.
With a background in social work, Winifred brings a people-centered approach to communication, enabling her to connect research, policy, and society. She is passionate about storytelling, digital engagement, and promoting initiatives that drive sustainable development and social impact.
Outside her professional work, she enjoys watching movies, traveling, and cooking. She is dedicated, creative, and committed to delivering excellence in communication and public engagement.
John Agu Wogor
Printing, Graphics and Design
John Agu Wogor is a results-oriented Procurement Officer in an oil servicing company, currently based in Rivers State, Nigeria. He brings a strong multidisciplinary background that blends procurement and supply chain operations, and petroleum engineering fundamentals, enabling him to add strategic and technical value across diverse operational environments.
With practical experience in procurement planning, vendor engagement, RFQ management, cost analysis, and compliance, John plays a key role in ensuring timely sourcing of goods and services while maintaining quality, transparency, and cost efficiency. His exposure to oil and gas servicing operations has strengthened his understanding of industry-specific materials, equipment specifications, and operational requirements.
John holds an academic background in Petroleum Engineering, which provides him with a solid foundation in upstream and downstream oil and gas concepts, engineering principles, and field operations. This technical knowledge complements his procurement role, particularly in sourcing engineering materials and liaising with technical teams.
He is known for being detail-oriented, analytical, and adaptable, with a strong commitment to accuracy, ethical standards, and continuous improvement. John thrives in collaborative environments and is capable of bridging the gap between engineering, operations, ICT, and procurement functions.
