Dr Onur Yagis

Academic, Researcher

Dr Onur Yagis is holds a PhD in Economics from Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. His main research and teaching areas are Macroeconomics, International Economics and Foreign Trade, and energy and environmental economics. Dr. Yağış has a broad academic portfolio, having authored over 50 peer-reviewed articles, books, and book chapters. He specializes in the application of advanced econometric methods to international economics. He currently contributes to science as an independent researcher

Dr. Timothy Ayomitunde Aderemi

Postdoctoral Fellow, Mangosuthu University of Technology, Durban, South Africa.

Dr. Timothy Ayomitunde Aderemi is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Mangosuthu University of Technology, Durban, South Africa. He began his academic journey in Ikire, Osun State, attending Holy Cross Catholic School and Saint Augustine Commercial Grammar School. 

He gained admission into Osun State University in 2006/2007 as one of its pioneer students, where his outstanding performance earned him both a university scholarship and recognition as the best student in Irewole Local Government by Intercontinental Bank. He also won the Professor Olu Aina Intercollegiate Essay Competition in 2010.

Dr. Aderemi holds MSc and PhD degrees in Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University and Olabisi Onabanjo University, respectively. His research expertise spans applied econometrics, methodology, energy, and international economics. He has authored over 100 publications, secured multiple local and international grants (including TETFUND, CBN, UNDP, and AFDB), and received the Bells University Vice Chancellor’s Award for Outstanding Researcher in 2023 and 2024. He also consults for UNEP and other institutions.

Jerome Otiti

Jerome Otiti is a multidisciplinary researcher and doctoral student at the University of Fort Hare, South Africa, in the Department of Biotechnology and Biological Sciences. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Technology from Delta State University, Nigeria, and a Master’s degree in Zoology from Olabisi Onabanjo University. 

He also earned a Master’s degree in Marine Plastics Abatement from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, under the Department of Energy, Environment, and Climate Change. His current research focuses on microplastics in aquatic organisms, with broader interests in aquatic ecology, environmental toxicology, and sustainability. His work aims to advance understanding of emerging contaminants and their ecological and human health implications.

Dr. Pureheart Irikefe

Research Associate at the Strategic Research Institute (APU)

Dr. Pureheart Irikefe is an interdisciplinary researcher specialising in financial inclusion, entrepreneurship, environmental economics, and the Sustainable Development Goals. With a PhD in Management from the Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, his policy-driven research focuses on the intersection of organizational performance, energy economics, AI-driven innovation, and artificial neural networks. 

Beyond his research, he serves as a Research Associate at the Strategic Research Institute (APU) and provides editorial leadership as the Production Manager for the Electronic Journal of Business and Management. His work consistently aims to translate academic theory into inclusive triple bottom line progress and tangible societal impact.

Dr. Dayo B. Olanipekun

Ekiti State University

Dr. Dayo B. Olanipekun is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences, Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria. He has over thirteen years of teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and has also participated in the Federal Government of Nigeria’s Technical Aid Corps programme, during which he was deployed to Uganda.

Dr. Olanipekun previously served as Head of the Department of Economics and Applied Statistics at Kampala International University, Uganda. He earned his PhD from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, where he was awarded the prestigious African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) scholarship between 2011 and 2015.

He has published extensively in reputable local and international journals. His research interests include International Economics, Energy Economics, and Development Economics.

 

Toun Mobolaji

Toun Mobolaji is a Policy Analyst with multidisciplinary training in economics and public administration. She holds an M.Sc. in Economics from Covenant University, Nigeria and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from University of Saskatchewan, Canada.

Her expertise spans economic policy, public sector governance, development planning, and policy analysis, with a growing interest in sustainable development and evidence-based policymaking. Based in Saskatchewan, Canada, she brings an international perspective to policy research and institutional development. Her profile strengthens REOISRI’s commitment to advancing impactful research, policy innovation, and sustainable development solutions across diverse sectors.

Dr. Azka Amin

Institute of Business Management

Dr. Azka Amin is working as an Associate Professor of Economics at the Institute of Business Management. She holds a Ph.D. from Shandong University, China. Dr. Amin’s research interests focus on Environmental issues, Energy transition, Natural Resources, Green Economy, sustainable development, and so on.

She has published numerous papers in high-impact journals indexed by SCI/ SSCI, ABS, ABDC, and Scopus. She is actively playing her role as peer reviewer in various top-notch international journals. Dr. Azka Amin has supervised numerous graduate and undergraduate students.

Rika Reviza Rachmawati

 National Research and Innovation Agency

Rika Reviza Rachmawati, SP., MSc is a researcher at National Research and Innovation Agency with over a decade of experience in agricultural economics, rural development, and food policy. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Universitas Padjadjaran, a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development Agriculture from University of Greenwich, and is currently pursuing her PhD at University of Indonesia. 

Her research focuses on food security, climate adaptation, gender in agriculture, rural transformation, and agricultural innovation. She has published over 30 articles in reputable journals and actively contributes to international conferences, research collaborations, and policy-driven agricultural development initiatives across Southeast Asia.
