REOISRI Founding Director Appointed as Research Fellow at Azerbaijan’s Sustainable Development Research Centre

The REO Institute for Strategic Research and Innovation (REO-ISRI) is delighted to announce another outstanding international achievement by its Chief Executive Officer, Professor Dr Romanus Osabohien, who has been appointed Principal Research Fellow at the Sustainable Development Research Centre (SDRC) of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), Azerbaijan.

The appointment is a strong endorsement of Professor Osabohien’s internationally recognised expertise in development economics, sustainability, institutional quality, energy transition and evidence-based public policy. It further demonstrates the increasing global demand for African scholars whose research contributes practical solutions to contemporary development challenges. 

As a Research Fellow, Professor Osabohien will collaborate with an international network of researchers to undertake cutting-edge studies on sustainable development, supervise postgraduate researchers, develop competitive international research grants, publish high-impact scientific outputs and strengthen multidisciplinary research partnerships across continents.

Professor Osabohien’s appointment reflects years of sustained scholarly excellence and research leadership. His work has influenced academic discourse and policy debates on sustainability, climate finance, renewable energy, food security, institutional development and inclusive economic growth. His recognition as one of the Top 2% Scientists Worldwide further highlights the international impact of his research and its contribution to addressing complex global challenges.
