The Delta State Branch of the REO Institute for Strategic Research and Innovation (REOISRI), under the leadership of Dr Chuks Okogor, successfully conducted a training session for newly recruited Research Assistants at the branch office in Delta State, Nigeria.
The training focused on introducing participants to fundamental research skills, data management, research ethics, academic writing, and the use of digital tools for research and innovation. The session also provided practical guidance on teamwork, critical thinking, and the standards expected of research personnel within REOISRI.
This initiative reflects REOISRI’s commitment to building research capacity, nurturing young scholars, and strengthening evidence-based research for sustainable development. Through continuous mentorship and hands-on training, the Institute aims to equip emerging researchers with the skills required to contribute meaningfully to academic excellence, policy development, and societal transformation.
